The Proemion global CAN diagnosis client enables access to vehicle operational data, machines, or remote objects anywhere, anytime. With conventional diagnostic systems, such data is only available on site. The global availability of diagnostic data facilitates error detection and prevention and allows a timely response to critical values. Errors can be rectified without costly and time-intensive on-site repairs, and downtime is reduced or even avoided.

Option 1

Use the Proemion Dashboard

With the Proemion Dashboard, we offer a desktop application that provides an almost instantaneous display of your global fleet's CAN data. This way, you can keep a constant eye on the status of your operation and diagnose problems as soon as they occur. Downtimes are reduced or even eliminated.

The Dashboard has a variety of visualizations, including cockpit instruments, status displays, and much more. Arrange the viewing the way you want it, without any programming.

CANlink mobile connects easily to the application. No additional hardware is required, and the software requires only minimal configuration.

Use existing service tool

Even if you are already using a service tool, it is no problem to connect it with our hardware to stream the data from the CAN bus via the mobile network into your application. For example, we offer individual hardware variants for Bosch and Danfoss controllers. This implementation can also be realized for other controller manufacturers.

Logging of CAN data

With the Proemion Dashboard, you can record all diagnostic sessions and store them in the cloud. It is possible to perform error analysis at any point in time. Thus, an engineer can run a diagnostic session in retrospect and retrospectively perform data analysis. This provides the advantage of being able to work offline without an internet connection.

Session History

Session histories can be logged via the Proemion Dashboard, such as the timeframe and amount of new connections. A complete connection history of all CAN messages ensures consistent transparency. Each vehicle or machine access gets recorded and can be evaluated: Who (IP) connected when (time), from which place (IP), and with which vehicle (vehicle number).

CAN protocol compatibility

Vehicle and machine manufacturers use different CAN protocols. In the United States, J1939 is used widely, while Material Handling prefers the CAN-Open-Protocol, and agricultural machine manufacturers mainly use the ISO bus. But all protocols are CAN-based protocols. We designed the Dashboard to display CAN data from multiple sources. All CAN standards can be thus be individually adapted to various CAN messages. Also, the layout and presentation of the software can be changed quickly and intuitively. Developers and support personnel can customize their graphic design and display the required vehicle data as desired.

Configurable software

The various visualization tools can be combined and linked mathematically or by individual preference. No matter how complex your fleet setup may be, it can be accurately represented using the available visualization tools. It is also possible to detect errors in advance and forecast maintenance. This "predictive service" can initiate measures for preventive maintenance. The Realtime Dashboard and Proemion server combination also allow for off-site troubleshooting and error diagnosis.

Firmware Uploads

Our solution provides bi-directional communication. It is possible to read out CAN messages from any vehicle or machine and send messages back to the asset. This provides the great advantage of performing global firmware uploads. All vehicle and engine components integrated into the CAN network can be flashed. Proemion diagnostic software monitors the performance of new software updates. Error detections result in appropriate adjustments or a re-flashing of respective components. Accurate diagnosis and remote fixes are thus possible, from anywhere in the world.
