Proemion GmbH, a leading telematics solution provider exclusively focused on off-highway OEMs, today announced the appointment of Hidekiyo Takehara as Business Development Manager for Japan, effective January, 2026. The move underscores Proemion’s commitment to deepening its presence in the Japanese off-highway market.

Takeh brings a proven track record in the Japanese market. He previously served as Regional Director for Japan at a European SaaS connectivity company in the construction machinery sector, where he built the company’s operations in Japan from the ground up over 4 years. He is based in the Greater Tokyo area and reports directly to Marco Hertz, Chief Revenue Officer, based in Germany.

Japan is a strategically important market for Proemion. Takeh’s deep industry expertise and his ability to build trust-based, long-term relationships with off-highway OEMs in Japan make him the ideal person to lead our expansion there.

Marco Hertz
Chief Revenue Officer, Proemion

I am very much looking forward to meeting customers and partners in person at CSPI-EXPO in June. It will be a great opportunity to introduce Proemion’s capabilities to the Japanese market and start building the relationships that matter.

Hidekiyo (Takeh) Takehara
Business Development Manager Japan, Proemion

This appointment reflects Proemion’s broader strategy to grow its presence in key markets alongside its existing operations in Germany, Ohio (USA), and Seoul (South Korea). Japan’s off-highway sector represents a significant opportunity for OEMs seeking to monetize machine data and meet evolving connectivity and compliance requirements.
