Global two-way data transfer
Transmit your machine's CAN data to the cloud via the 4G cellular network (with fallback to 3G/2G) from anywhere in the world.
On-edge CAN processing
Record relevant performance data, perform remote CAN diagnosis, and do over-the-air updates by integrating the device into your machine's CAN network.
Security by design
All devices are equipped with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip for secure end-to-end communication and authentication.
Bi-directional file communication
Transfer any files from the DataPlatform to your ECUs and vice versa. Using the CANopen protocol, you can push, e.g., firmware updates and complete sets of machine parameter changes.
Edge computing-proven
The telematics device can handle edge computing tasks like calculation operations directly on the device itself.
Certified for tough conditions
Certified to off-highway industry standards, with international radio type approvals and proven resilience against EMC interference, temperature extremes, shock, and vibration.
Benefit from an extensive and global connectivity
The new CANlink® mobile 3600 telematic device series has it all: a mobile LTE module (Cat 4) for worldwide LTE that supports the most important 4G frequencies and makes regional variants obsolete.
Furthermore, the CANlink® mobile provides a built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmitter, CAN 3, and a global tracking GNSS interface for capturing position data.
The device’s bi-directional data transfer allows for real-time remote access to your machines – and a wide range of application opportunities like cost-effective remote firmware updates.
A telematics device for demanding conditions
The CANlink® mobile 3600 series was engineered to withstand extreme weather and working conditions. The robust composite casing meets the IP6k7 standard and the tough demands of all heavy-duty off-highway applications.
Certified to off-highway industry standards (EN 12895, ISO 13766-1, EN 61000-6-2, UN ECE R10), the device carries international radio type approvals for near-worldwide market access. It exceeds regulatory EMC and interference immunity requirements and is qualified for extreme environmental conditions – temperature, climate exposure, mechanical shock, vibration, and ingress protection (EN-60068-2-series) – with stable performance under continuous operation per ISO 16750-2.
Keep your data secure
Data is valuable. That’s why the CANlink® mobile 3600 has a built-in focus on security: the TPM-security chip. All communication is encrypted with TLS 1.2, protecting your data from unauthorized access and corruption.
All of our information security measures, such as firmware authentication, were audited and verified by independent security experts.
Easy installation without coding
Plug-and-perform is a key principle for the CANlink® mobile 3600: the device comes pre-configured and ready to go – with direct status feedback via LEDs. No additional coding is required.
Secure your data
Never lose your data, even if the cellular connection is temporarily interrupted.
The CANlink® mobile 3600 stores the data and sends it to the DataPlatform as soon as the connection is re-established. Store and forward is a powerful feature when working in conditions with difficult reception.
