Proemion Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification and Launches Trust Portal
Proemion has officially achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. This milestone was validated through a rigorous, independent external audit of our information security management system. However, the most important aspect of this certification is its comprehensive scope. Unlike traditional telematics providers that may certify only their web applications, Proemion’s ISO 27001 certification covers the entire end-to-end solution stack.
This means our embedded hardware, firmware, software, web services, and cloud infrastructure are all governed by these security protocols. We apply these standards across the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and development through to production, delivery, and final operation. Because our solution is built directly into the machine, we take responsibility for securing the data at the point of origin and at every step along its journey.
For your procurement and IT teams, this comprehensive scope translates into faster, more predictable due diligence. When you are evaluating vendors or renewing contracts, proving compliance is often a lengthy bottleneck. Our certification provides clear, end-to-end security assurance, streamlining your internal approval processes and reducing friction during procurement cycles.
To make this information easily accessible, we have also launched our Trust Portal. This centralized destination houses all our security, privacy, and compliance documentation. Instead of waiting for email replies with attached compliance PDFs, your teams can now access the verifiable information they need on demand.
Remote Machine Tunnel Is Now Generally Available
Running a service department in the off-highway industry means delivering fast, reliable support while keeping operational costs firmly under control. Traditionally, diagnosing a complex machine issue requires a service technician to travel to the site, physically connect a cable to the machine, and extract data directly from the ECUs. These costly on-site visits drain resources, increase pass-through expenses, and leave your customers facing extended periods of machine downtime.
We are eliminating this physical barrier. After completing its private beta phase, the Remote Machine Tunnel is now generally available for the CANlink mobile® 10000. This capability is included in the Fleet Diagnostics Package at no extra charge, ensuring you can immediately leverage it to streamline your after-sales operations.
The Remote Machine Tunnel provides secure, browser-based remote access to machine UIs, ECUs, and CODESYS® services. Your technicians can establish a bi-directional connection directly from the DataPlatform. Crucially, this requires no VPN configuration. The connection is handled entirely within your existing, secure Proemion environment.
This seamless integration enables your after-sales teams to perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting without ever dispatching a service truck. A highly qualified engineer sitting at a desk can evaluate an entire global fleet, interact with the machine's ECU, and identify problems using real-time data.
By allowing true, full remote diagnostics, you drastically reduce travel costs and improve service productivity. Problems are diagnosed faster, so your customers get their equipment back in operation sooner. When a site visit is finally necessary, the technician arrives knowing exactly what component needs replacing, rather than arriving to plug in a diagnostic cable.
This advanced capability empowers your service department to offer premium, immediate-response service options that enhance customer satisfaction and drive aftermarket growth.
Machine Activity Report – See When Your Machines Were Running
To provide deeper operational clarity, we have launched the new Machine Activity Report, now fully available within Proemion DataPlatform. This report shifts the focus from simply accumulating total hours to mapping out precise chronological utilization. By leveraging highly accurate engine-state and ignition metrics, we have created a tool that visualizes the precise operational rhythm of your equipment.
The Machine Activity Report displays intuitive daily timeline bars that clearly show the specific active and inactive periods for each machine. Users can switch to a weekly view that provides up to ten weeks of historical data at a glance. You can easily drill down from a high-level fleet summary directly to the granular timeline of a single piece of equipment.
This chronological insight serves multiple stakeholders across your customer base. Machine owners gain a clear understanding of daily usage patterns, enabling them to optimize job-site workflows and identify idle assets. Fleet managers can finally validate and verify broader fleet-level utilization reports, ensuring that the total hours reported perfectly align with actual shift patterns.
For your OEM service teams, this report acts as a vital diagnostic tool. When investigating a failure or an anomaly, knowing the exact minute a machine was switched on or off provides critical context. It allows your engineers to align machine activity with diagnostic trouble codes, painting a complete picture of the equipment's operational state leading up to an event.
Simplified Maintenance of Trackers and Beacons for Mixed-Fleet Customers

Field technicians managing mixed-device fleets frequently encounter a frustrating operational gap. When standing in front of a machine, they often struggle to quickly verify if the installed telematics device is properly connected, transmitting data, and has sufficient battery life. Digging through back-end systems or calling the back office to confirm connectivity wastes valuable time and delays scheduled maintenance tasks.
To solve this, we are introducing a powerful new capability for your field teams. Available from April 2026, the Retrofit App will feature a new QR Scan tool designed specifically for instant connectivity checks. This update provides technicians with immediate visibility into hardware directly from their mobile devices, enabling them to work entirely in the field without needing a desktop computer.
By scanning a device's QR code with the App, technicians can instantly retrieve critical hardware data. The app will immediately display:
- Which specific machine is the device currently linked to
- The real-time connectivity status of the hardware
- Current battery health metrics
- The ability to capture and upload photo documentation, including an image of the machine's type plate for inventory validation
This feature removes the guesswork for technicians performing installations or routine maintenance. By instantly verifying connectivity and battery health, technicians can ensure the hardware is functioning properly before they leave the site. This enables proactive maintenance, allowing your team to address potential hardware issues before they escalate into costly data blackouts.
We’ve also enhanced the photo documentation feature in the Retrofit App, adding the option to capture an image of the machine’s type plate. This small addition makes a big impact, streamlining inventory validation and creating more accurate service histories. Your back-office teams gain a clearer picture of the installation, improving future technical support efforts.
